At the beggining of the year we entered the uk live and unsigned competition and have so far got through to the semi finals. The event will be held this sunday the 20th of may at huddersfield town hall.

Thank you to everyone that has shown us support so far we really do appreciate it!

On the 21st of june we will be launching our brand new single from our debut album at the greystones in sheffield. We want to know who you would like to see support us?

All you have to do is send us an email to feelixmusic@yahoo.co.uk with the name of the act you would like to see supporting as and the person with the most votes will be supporting us.

the only thing is it has got to be a solo act or duo preferably acoustic

Feelix SINGLE LAUNCH! 21st of June @ the Greystones Sheffield!

We will finally be releasing a brand new single! and we will be launching it on the 21st of June at the Greystones in Sheffield!

There will be a local support act playing as well as Feelix (yet to be decided) The single will be available from itunes from this night on and the brand new music video will be available to view on youtube.

Music will start at 9pm and it will be £5 on the door.

Feelix asked to write song to for when the olympic torch comes to sheffield!

The sheffield city council have asked Feelix to write a song to be perfomed at the event that will celebrate the olympic torch coming to sheffield.

The song will be performed by a group of talented sheffield school children on an outdoor stage outside the sheffield city hall. The event will be covered live by ‘The One Show’ on bbc 1 as well as various other newspapers and radio stations.

this is a fantastic opportunity for both us and the school children involved and we cant wait to get started on it!

On sunday 25th of March we performed at the sheffield city hall for a chance to reach the semi finals of uk live and unsigned competition and we got through!

The next stage will held at huddersfield town hall on the 20th of May. Our audition will be at 12:30 and if you wish to come and support us you can by tickets for the event by emailing us at feelixmusic@yahoo.co.uk

The more people we can there the more impressed the judges will be so please come along and support us if you can.

Regional finals of UK Live and Unsigned Competition!

We have got through to the Regional Finals of the UK Live and Unsigned Competition!!

The Sheffield Regional Finals will be held at the Memorial Hall (Sheffield City Hall) on Sunday the 25th of March. Doors open at 12:15pm. The event will be filmed for sky TV and we will be competing for a place in the final which will be infront of celebrity judges and highly infuential music industry proffesionals and held at the 02 arena in london so we really need your support…

Feelix are recording their DEBUT ALBUM!!

WE ARE FINALLY MAKING AN ALBUM!!

We are nearing the end of the pre-production stage and it’s already sounding promising! The album will consist of entirely new material, taking influence from artists like Ed Sheeran, Christina Perri, Sia, Gary Go and John Mayer. As I type Nick is recording slide guitar on Goodbye Baby, a track that we have never even played live before!

The album (which is yet to be named..any suggestions?!) is due to be released in early September and will be available on itunes and amazon, as well as on hardcopy. The launch night and tour dates will be announced shortly so keep checking our website to find out when and where you can see us

Hello, here is an update on whats beeen going on recently for feelix!

We have performed twice at ‘The Greystones’ in sheffield recently and both gigs have been very well recieved by a full house. Keep checking the gigs section as there will deffinitely be another gig there in the next few months.

The ‘With your love’ Cher lloyd acoustic challenge cover video that we recorded at the end of December has now had over 4,500 hits! As well the large number of views there has also been a lot of really possitive feedback and comments which we are really grateful for!

We are planning to release a new single in the next few months and potentially a new album later in the year so watch this space for more info as things start to happen.
